Some team dressage competitions do not count the best results over the whole show. A team final over two days may count the three best results each day and add the two days together. A team championship may count only the best result in each competition. You set this up with Groups on the Team tab of an administrative team competition.
Groups have been in Equipe for a long time, but you had to type the competition numbers in a text field, like 1, 2 + 3, 4. Not many knew it was there, and it was hard to see what it would do. Now it has a proper input.
Click Add group and pick the competitions for the group in Add competition. The competitions are listed by day, and each group shows the days its competitions are ridden. The groups sit side by side with a plus between them, because that is how the team result is counted.
Each group counts the team's best results on its own, as many as Min starts per team. The team result is the groups added together. Without groups, the best results count over all competitions together, just like before.
A combination that rides on both days is linked to the team in both its competitions, and is then in the team once per day. A start marked Must count always counts in its group.
