Team Score Summary
Currently doing a Team Score Summary at an event. Summary working well until I changed a rider's horse, as I had the wrong horse, now I can not get that rider's points on the team. She sits on the Start list at the bottom of the online equipe summary.
Any ideas please.... the rider has points and effects the final team scores.
Thanks Cathy
Hi Cathy,
Sorry about this. It was a bug in Equipe, not something you did wrong. Teams on a score summary are quite new in Equipe, and this was a case we had missed.
Zoe Tyler-Whiteman came onto the Whangarei Girls (16) team with Velvet Noir of Renton, but in the PG competitions she rode Starstrike. When the Team Score Summary was recalculated, it removed Zoe's team entry because Velvet Noir had no points. It then made a new entry for Zoe and Starstrike with her points but no team. That is the one you see at the bottom. Each time she was added back to the team, the next recalculation removed the team entry again and kept the one without a team.
The fix is live now. Open the settings for PG Team Score Summary and press Update Competition. Zoe then stays on Whangarei Girls (16) with her 10 points, and the extra entry at the bottom goes away. With the results as they were when I looked, the team ends up on 40 points and in second place.
Thank you Jon.
Equipe was super throughout the Equifest show, I was wishing I just left Zoe on her other horse. Whangarei Girls did actually sit in second place without Zoe's 10 points which helped on the day.
Thanks also to Ullie in Aussie - we had a few WhatsApp calls and messages to see if we could work it out. The Team and Individuals summaries are amazing, actually the whole system is. I've been a full time show secretary for the last 5 weeks with Takapoto, Rotorua, Equifest and Waikato and Takapoto World Cup to come. Equifest has far been the biggest as it is a festival of the horse, a huge trade componant and every demo under the sun - we had Cowboys, Wild horse challanges, vaulting demos, carriage drivers, rare horses and stunt riders all in the mix. I would never have taken that on single handedly in our NZ software systems.
Lots of praise for the software from our riders and supporters here in NZ Jon. Thanks again.
Hi Cathy,
Thank you, that was really nice to read, means a lot!
Glad Ullie could help you over WhatsApp. Good luck with Waikato and the Takapoto World Cup.
Jon
