Hi. The riders app is only to show class start times. When they enter they have to use a web browser and link. Is there no way to build in the ability to use an iPhone app for example to do the entries as it's inconvenient for riders not to be able to use an app?

Hi, The online App on smartphones gives the availability to declare starts with it.
For this : on Déclaration overview in app.equipe.com , make sure that "allow self service" is on.
then on the smartphone application, you can go on "Me" (create an account if not yet done) , then self service and link the smartphone to Equipe.
After this and when the masterlist(s) of your show is published (like the other class) , it will be possible on the app to declare starts straight from Smart phones :)

If the smartphone request a code , go on the tablet or weblink for declaration, enter rider name and click on button "connect to Equipe App". a code for 120 sec will appear

Thanks. We don't have the declaration facility it's the ability to make entries for example here: https://entry.equipe.com/meetings/3022/competitions

OK, it's with the entry system.
I don't think there is a way to use it in app at the moment.

Thanks./ Are there plans to do this? We have very big shows and our riders need an easier way to make large amounts of entries

The option Laurent is mentioning is part of the FEI packages as it is only for International shows declaration based on the rider FEI ID.

Thanks Thom. Yeh we have linked our entries like that before in the same way but it's still a web page as such and not contained within the app. Just wondered if you had plans to incorporate it all into one. For my September show next month we will have 1100 horses on site for 7 days so having an app for this amount of entries would be a better plan. Thanks (Y)

Maybe I don't understand but the app is just a wrap around the same data used in online.equipe.com (thats a website also).
An app around the entry.equipe.website won't have more benefits than the website can do.
For security reasons we have 2 separate databases so the payment/adress info from entry can't leak into the results app (online.equipe)
